Alfardan Exchange opens its new branch in City Center Mall!

Mr. Fahad Alfardan, the President of Alfardan Exchange, inaugurated a new branch at City Center Doha. This new branch, bringing the total number of the company's branches to 23, offers various services such as money transfers, foreign currency exchange, selling gold bullion and coins, and multi-currency travel cards. The branch is equipped with advanced facilities to ensure client receive the best services. 

On this occasion, Mr. Fahad Alfardan expressed his happiness with the opening of the new branch at City Center Doha, emphasizing Alfardan Exchange’s commitment to providing top-notch services to clients and being located in vital areas of the country, making it easier for clients to access exchange services and enrich their experience to the highest level.  

He noted that this new branch brings the total number of the company’s branches to 23 and features advanced facilities and a new design. Mr. Fahad Alfardan also revealed plans for smart digital expansions and the opening of more advanced branches, as well as updates to other branches of the company.  

He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the unlimited support that the exchange sector receives from the Qatar Central Bank, through the issuance of regulations that encourage the enhancement of service quality and innovation in service channels and diversification of their offerings.  

Mr. Bashar Al-Waqfi, CEO of Alfardan Exchange, stated that the opening of the City Center Doha branch is an important addition that strengthens the expansion of Alfardan Exchange. He confirmed that the new branch was created with the highest standards and facilities to provide the best services to clients.  

He emphasized that the company is committed to being present in all vital locations to be closer to its clients, making it easier for them to access the services provided by Alfardan Exchange branches. He added that the City Center Doha branch is the 23rd branch of Alfardan Exchange, featuring a new design to serve clients and offering all the services provided by Alfardan Exchange, including money transfers, foreign currency exchange, gold bullion and coins sales, and multi-currency travel cards.  

He also mentioned that Alfardan Exchange focuses on several key areas, including geographic expansion through an increasing number of branches, so they can be closer to clients and meet their foreign exchange needs while keeping up with their expectations and supporting the growth of the national economy. He added that the continued opening of branches is based on the fact that a large segment of clients still prefers to visit exchange branches for services, representing 75% of the total transactions.  

The second focus of Alfardan Exchange is on digital transactions, or "smart transactions." In this regard, he revealed the launch of a new version of the Alfardan Exchange application, which offers unique features for the first time in the Qatari exchange market. He mentioned that the new Alfardan Exchange app allows users to make financial transfers, exchange foreign currencies, buy gold bullion and coins, and use delivery services through an accredited security company for the first time in Qatar. Clients can now use the new Alfardan Exchange app to order foreign currencies, gold bullion, or multi-currency travel cards, which will be delivered to their homes using the “Secure Delivery” service available on the app.  

Mr. Bashar Al-Waqfi emphasized that Alfardan Exchange continues to embody its vision and support Qatar's sustainability vision by enhancing digital transformation, which is a crucial part of Alfardan Exchange’s ongoing strategy. He also indicated that the expansions of Alfardan Exchange branches will continue in 2025 in selected locations to cover vital and important geographical areas across the country.
